It’s been an exciting Spring so far. In a typical hands-on Lanterra approach, we decided to take 10 of our top VIP agents and travel to Milan to explore some of the key features for 50 Scollard. The team had a chance to delve deeper into what makes the finishes and features of this project so exciting.
The trip started with a stay at Villa D’este in Cernobbio, named the best hotel in the world by Forbes Magazine. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and famous villas, Lake Como was the perfect place to unwind and pamper the crew before setting out. Everyone enjoyed a private boat tour of the lake and then lunch at the landmark restaurant, Locanda dell’Isola Comacina.
In Milan, the agents were divided into three teams and had an Amazing Race-style competition while seeing the sights. They toasted their victories—because who could lose when exploring such an iconic city?—at the Asola restaurant.
The next day was just as memorable as everyone met with the Molteni C & Dada Kitchen family at their flagship store. This gave our agents a chance to see the latest designs and features in Dada kitchens.
Then it was off to the Salone Internazionale del Mobile Milan 2019, a showcase of business and culture shaping design and furnishing yesterday, today, and tomorrow. This is one of the best global platforms for top-notch, innovative products. The Salon is split into three style categories: Classic, drawing off tradition and craftsmanship; Design, featuring functional, innovative and stylish products; and xLux, products that explore time luxury in a contemporary way.
It was almost overwhelming to see the thousands of designs being unveiled for the first time at the Salon. It’s clear why this hub of creativity has become an international showcase with more than 37,000 attendees each year.
While at the Salon, the Lanterra team and agents enjoyed a VIP tour of the Molteni C & Dada Kitchen Exhibit. It was a chance to meet the Molteni family and see their beautiful new kitchens designs and features.
After the Salon, fun was had by all and more memories were made at the Bang & Olufsen Cocktail Party on Via Campoforo. We were invited by Brian Stilling Lauren, the head of Enterprises Sales EMEA.
As you can see from the photos, everyone had a great trip.
