Summer 2018 Condominium Updates

The sun isn’t the only thing sizzling in the city this summer. Check out the latest updates on some of our most popular condo projects, along with updated photos on our progress.

Rodeo Drive Condominiums
Since site preparation began in late March, the hoarding around the site is fully completed and the site is enclosed. This means that shoring and excavation have already begun. As long as the weather continues to cooperate, we should have excavated to the bottom of the site by the end of this year.

In addition, the tendering of contracts is underway for different components of construction. We’ll soon have the best people in place for this very exciting project.

TeaHouse Condominiums

If you’ve passed this project, you’ve seen how busy the site has been. The TTC tunnel is now completely enclosed and the floor is complete.

In the North Tower, we’re currently decking the mezzanine floor slab. In the South Tower, we’re decking the third-floor slab.

This is an exciting time for suite owners as they begin their colour selection. Owners will be contacted for their appointment by our Design Centre over the next few weeks.  If you have moved recently, please contact us and update your information.

11 Wellesley
The beauty of 11 Wellesley and it’s curved silhouette is slowly emerging as we pass the halfway mark and have completed up to the 34th level. The formwork is on schedule, the studding and drywall have been started on the lower level, and we’ve started putting the finishes on the suites.

If you pass by, you’ll notice that the windows are complete on the podium, including almost all of the windows for the office levels and the ground floor. It’s also windows as far as the eye can see if you look up—as long as you stop looking at the 20th level. Soon you’ll see balcony railings appear as everything moves forward according to schedule.

The Britt

Since our last update, The Britt has grown. The building structure is now complete, including the mechanical penthouse. The precast has been completed on the podium and all podium windows have been installed. Most of the tower windows are also installed, with the exception of the top few floors. In addition, we’re almost finished putting those final finishes in the north and south wing suites.

The Britt now has permanent power, which means full steam ahead for elevator, mechanical, and electrical system installation.

Now that the temporary power station has been removed from the ground floor, the exterior work has started. Installation of the entrance canopies has already started and the ground landscaping will begin soon.

The elegance and beauty of The Britt is garnering interest from across the city, with a recent article in Toronto Storeys by Christopher Hume giving it rave reviews and an A! Read the full article here.

We look forward to welcoming you to your new home when The Britt opens for occupancy in the late Fall.

Artist’s Alley Condominiums
The building for our ambitious and beautiful Artists’ Alley was turned over for construction on June 30th. At the beginning of July, we started interior abatement. Over the next few weeks, you should notice hoarding installed around the site as we move on to the next phase of construction for this exciting project.

If you’d like to drop by the sales office, it has moved to 925 Bay Street.
