Women in Real Estate Panel

While real estate is often perceived as a male-dominated industry, studies conducted in 2023 by CREA and CMHC found that more than 60% of realtors in Canada are women. This striking statistic highlights a significant shift in the landscape of the real estate industry. While this statistic bodes well for realtors, many women still hesitate at the thought of dipping their toes into real estate investment.

Natasha Koifman of NKPR recently sat down with the President of Fengate, Jaime Mckenna, and the CFO of Lanterra Meera Pathmanathan to discuss the hesitancy that women face when investing in property and dispelling myths surrounding the industry.

Speaking on traditional gender roles growing up to the lack of formal education women receive on investing and the long-term benefits of real estate, the comprehensive discussion covered many topics. Watch the full video below and discover why Natasha “truly believes that it’s the best investment you’re ever going to make.”
